Introduction to Intltool

intltool is a set of tools to centralize translation of many different file formats using GNU gettext-compatible PO files.

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
install -v -m644 -D doc/I18N-HOWTO \
    /usr/share/doc/intltool-0.40.6/I18N-HOWTO

Short Descriptions

intltoolize prepares a package to use intltool.
