Note

Netkit-rsh does not use DESTDIR, Netkit-rsh uses INSTALLROOT instead. Use INSTALLROOT as you would normally use DESTDIR. Netkit-rsh fails to create the directories it needs to install into so do the fallowing.
install -d <DIRECTORY>/usr/bin
install -d <DIRECTORY>/usr/man/man1
install -d <DIRECTORY>/usr/sbin
install -d <DIRECTORY>/usr/man/man8


Non-Multilib

Apply the patch:

patch -Np1 -i ../netkit-rsh-0.17-fixes-1.patch

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.

32Bit

Apply the patch:

patch -Np1 -i ../netkit-rsh-0.17-fixes-1.patch

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

N32

Apply the patch:

patch -Np1 -i ../netkit-rsh-0.17-fixes-1.patch

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

64Bit

Apply the patch:

patch -Np1 -i ../netkit-rsh-0.17-fixes-1.patch

Compile the package:

Short Descriptions

rcp copies files between machines.
rexec is remote execution client for an exec server.
rlogin starts a terminal session on a remote host.
rsh executes command on host.
in.rexecd is the remote execution server daemon.
in.rlogind provides a remote login facility with authentication.
in.rshd provides a provides remote execution facilities.
