Introduction to QuickSynergy

QuickSynergy is a graphical interface (GUI) for easily configuring Synergy2, an application that allows the user to share his mouse and keyboard between two or more computers.

Dependencies

Required

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package:

make install &&
install -m644 src/logo/qslogo.png /usr/share/pixmaps

Create the desktop file:

cat > /usr/share/applications/quicksynergy.desktop << "EOF"
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Quick Synergy
Comment=
Exec=quicksynergy
Icon=qslogo.png
Terminal=false
Type=Application
MimeType=text/html;

Multilib

This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is required.

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH=${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32} USE_ARCH=32 \
./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package:

make install &&
install -m644 src/logo/qslogo.png /usr/share/pixmaps

N32

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH=${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32} USE_ARCH=n32 \
./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package:

make install &&
install -m644 src/logo/qslogo.png /usr/share/pixmaps

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH=${PKG_CONFIG_PATH64} USE_ARCH=64 \
./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package:

make install &&
install -m644 src/logo/qslogo.png /usr/share/pixmaps
