Some users have reported that QEMU-0.9.1 in system mode segmentation faults on startup for when compiled with Gcc-4.2.2. Gcc-3.3.6 is reported to work fine. Ensure that you have GCC-3.3 installed and that you pass the following to configure: --cc=/opt/gcc-3.3.6/bin/gcc

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.

32Bit

Compile the package:

USE_ARCH=32 ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --cc="gcc ${BUILD32}" &&
make

Install the package

make install

N32

Compile the package:

USE_ARCH=n32 ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --cc="gcc ${BUILDN32}" &&
make

Install the package

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

USE_ARCH=64 ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --cc="gcc ${BUILD64}" &&
make

Install the package

make install
