Introduction to AAlib
AAlib is a library used to render any graphic into ASCII Art.
Dependencies

Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install
Multilib
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib && make
Install the package
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/aalib-config{,-32}
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 \ --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib32 && make
Install the package
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/aalib-config{,-n32}
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 \ --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib64 && make
Install the package
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/aalib-config{,-64} && ln -sfv multiarch_wrapper /usr/bin/aalib-config

libaa.{so,a} | is a collection of routines to render any graphical input in portable format to ASCII Art. It can be used through many programs and has a very well documented API, so you can easily put it into your own programs. |
