Introduction to IASL

iasl compiles ASL (ACPI Source Language) into AML (ACPI Machine Language). This AML is suitable for inclusion as a DSDT in system firmware. It also can disassemble AML, for debugging purposes.

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

make

Install the package:

install -m755 -v iasl /usr/bin

Multilib

32bit

Compile the package:

make CC="gcc ${BUILD32}"

Install the package:

install -m755 -v iasl /usr/bin

N32

Compile the package:

make CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}"

Install the package:

install -m755 -v iasl /usr/bin

64Bit

Compile the package:

make CC="gcc ${BUILD64}"

Install the package:

install -m755 -v iasl /usr/bin
