Introduction to ALSA Library
The ALSA Library package contains the ALSA library. This is used by programs (including ALSA Utilities) requiring access to the ALSA sound interface.
Dependencies

Compile the package:
./configure --enable-static && make
Install the package
make install &&
install -v -m644 -D doc/asoundrc.txt \
/usr/share/doc/alsa-lib-1.0.27.2/asoundrc.txt
Multilib
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure &&
make
Install the package
make install
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib32 --enable-static &&
make
Install the package
make install
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64 --enable-static &&
make
Install the package

Documentation
If you have Doxygen installed and you wish to build the library API documentation, run the following commands:
make doc && install -v -d -m755 /usr/share/alsa/doc/html && install -v -m644 doc/doxygen/html/* /usr/share/alsa/doc/html
