Introduction to ALSA Library
The ALSA Library is a userspace library that provides a level of abstraction over the /dev interfaces provided by the kernel modules.

Configuration Information
If you would like to build ALSA Library against resmgr then add the following to configure:
--enable-resmgr
Non-Multilib
Compile the package:
./configure && make
Install the package
make install && install -v -m644 -D doc/asoundrc.txt \ /usr/share/doc/alsa-lib-1.0.27.2/asoundrc.txt
Multilib
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure && make
Install the package
make install
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib32 && make
Install the package
make install
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --libdir=/usr/lib64 && make
Install the package
make install && install -v -m644 -D doc/asoundrc.txt \ /usr/share/doc/alsa-lib-1.0.27.2/asoundrc.txt
Documentation
If you have Doxygen installed and you wish to build the library API documentation, run the following commands:
make doc && install -v -d -m755 /usr/share/alsa/doc/html && install -v -m644 doc/doxygen/html/* /usr/share/alsa/doc/html
