./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 &&
make

Install the package:

make install

64bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH64}" \
./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 &&
make
