Configuration
Bootscript
Overwrite the bootscript that was installed with ConsoleKit with the following command:
cat > /etc/rc.d/init.d/ConsoleKit << "EOF" #!/bin/sh ######################################################################## # Begin $rc_base/init.d/ConsoleKit # # Description : # # Authors : Joe Ciccone <jciccone@linuxfromscratch.org> # # Version : 00.01 # # Notes : # ######################################################################## . /etc/sysconfig/rc . ${rc_functions} case "${1}" in start) boot_mesg "Starting ConsoleKit..." loadproc /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon ;; stop) boot_mesg "Stopping ConsoleKit..." killproc /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon ;; restart) ${0} stop sleep 1 ${0} start ;; status) statusproc /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon ;; *) echo "Usage: ${0} {start|stop|restart|status}" exit 1 ;; esac # End $rc_base/init.d/ConsoleKit EOF chmod -v 754 /etc/rc.d/init.d/ConsoleKit
Link it into the run-levels:
for link in /etc/rc.d/rc{{0,1,6}.d/K27,{2,3,4,5}.d/S23}ConsoleKit; do ln -sfv ../init.d/ConsoleKit $link; done
