ConsoleKit is a system-wide service that tracks seats and sessions.

Configuration Information

If you would like to build the Linux-PAM module then pass the following to configure:

--enable-pam-module

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

CPPFLAGS="-I$XORG_PREFIX/include" \
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc \
    --localstatedir=/var --libexecdir=/usr/lib/ConsoleKit &&
make

Install the package:

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" \
CPPFLAGS="-I$XORG_PREFIX/include" \
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc \
    --localstatedir=/var --libexecdir=/usr/lib/ConsoleKit &&
make

Install the package:

make install

N32

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32}" \
CPPFLAGS="-I$XORG_PREFIX/include" \
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --libdir=/usr/lib32 \

    --with-pam-module-dir=/lib32/security &&
make

Install the package:

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH64}" \
CPPFLAGS="-I$XORG_PREFIX/include" \
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --libdir=/usr/lib64 \
    --localstatedir=/var --libexecdir=/usr/lib64/ConsoleKit \
    --with-pam-module-dir=/lib64/security &&
make

Install the package:

make install

Configuration

Bootscript

Overwrite the bootscript that was installed with ConsoleKit with the following command:
