Creating the courier User & Group

groupadd -g 35 courier &&
useradd -c "Courier Daemon User" -d /dev/null \
       -u 35 -g courier -s /bin/false courier

Dependencies

Required

• Pcre
• OpenSSL
• expect
• Berkeley DB or GDBM

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/sbin \
--sysconfdir=/etc/courier/authlib --with-mailuser=courier \
--with-mailgroup=courier
make

Install the package:

make install
make install-configure
