Introduction to Flite
Flite contains Text-To-speech engine for english users.
Dependencies
Optional
Non-Multilib
If you would like ALSA support apply the following patch:
patch -Np1 -i ../flite-1.3-alsa_support-1.patch
Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && sed -i 's/@ $(MAKE) -C lib/#/' Makefile && make
Install the package
make install
Multilib
32Bit
If you would like ALSA support apply the following patch:
patch -Np1 -i ../flite-1.3-alsa_support-1.patch
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --host=${CLFS_TARGET32} && sed -i 's/@ $(MAKE) -C lib/#/' Makefile && make
Install the package
make install
N32
If you would like ALSA support apply the following patch:
patch -Np1 -i ../flite-1.3-alsa_support-1.patch
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 && sed -i 's/@ $(MAKE) -C lib/#/' Makefile && make
Install the package
make install
