Introduction to GSL
The GNU Scientific Library (GSL) is a numerical library for C and C++ programmers. The library provides over 1000 functions covering a wide range of mathematical routines such as random number generators, special functions and least-squares fitting.

Install the package:
make install

Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --libdir=/usr/lib && make
Install the package:
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/gsl-config{,-32}
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --libdir=/usr/lib32
Install the package:
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/gsl-config{,-n32}
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --libdir=/usr/lib64 && make
Install the package:
make install && mv -v /usr/bin/gsl-config{,-64} && ln -sfv /usr/bin/multiarch_wrapper /usr/bin/gsl-config

Build and install the info pages for the GSL:
make install-info
Build and install the html documentation for the GSL:
make html && install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/html && for i in doc/gsl-ref.html/*.html; do cp -v $i /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/html done
Build and install the postscript documentation for the GSL:
make dvi && install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/ps && cp -v doc/gsl-ref.ps /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/ps
Install the example programs, if desired:
install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/examples && cp -v doc/examples/* /usr/share/doc/GSL-1.12/examples
