Introduction to Imlib2

Imlib 2 is the successor to Imlib. It is NOT a newer version -- it is a completely new library. Imlib 2 can be installed alongside Imlib 1.x without any problems since they are effectively different libraries which have very similar functionality. Please see the homepage for the long description of the differences.

Compile the package:

Install the package

make install &&
install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/imlib2-1.4.2 &&
install -v -m644 doc/{*.gif,index.html} \
    /usr/share/doc/imlib2-1.4.2

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

CPPFLAGS="-I${XORG_PREFIX}/include" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" \
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --host=$CLFS_TARGET32 \
    --x-libraries=$XORG_PREFIX/lib &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
mv -v /usr/bin/imlib2-config{,-32}

N32

Compile the package:

CPPFLAGS="-I${XORG_PREFIX}/include" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32}" \
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 \
    --x-libraries=$XORG_PREFIX/lib32 &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
mv -v /usr/bin/imlib2-config{,-n32}

64Bit

Compile the package:

CPPFLAGS="-I${XORG_PREFIX}/include" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH64}" \
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 \
    --x-libraries=$XORG_PREFIX/lib64 &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
mv -v /usr/bin/imlib2-config{,-64} &&
ln -sfv multiarch_wrapper /usr/bin/imlib2-config &&
install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/imlib2-1.4.2 &&

Contents

Installed Programs:	imlib2_bumpmap, imlib2_colorspace, imlib2-config, imlib2_conv, imlib2_grab, imlib2_poly, imlib2_show, imlib2_test, and imlib2_view
Installed Libraries:	libImlib2.{so,a} and various filters and image loader modules.
Installed Directories:	/usr/lib/imlib2, /usr/share/doc/imlib2-1.4.2, and /usr/share/imlib2

Short Descriptions

libImlib2.{so,a}	provides the functions for programs to deal with various image data formats.
