Introduction to JasPer

JasPer The JasPer Project is an open-source initiative to provide a free software-based reference implementation of the codec specified in the JPEG-2000 Part-1 standard (i.e., ISO/IEC 15444-1).

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared &&
make

Install the package:

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --enable-shared  --x-libraries=/usr/lib &&
make

Install the package:

make install

N32

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --libdir=/usr/lib32 --enable-shared &&
make

Install the package:

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \
    --libdir=/usr/lib64 --enable-shared &&
make

Install the package:

make install
