librsvg is a component used within software applications to enable support for SVG-format scalable graphics.

Additional Configuration Options

--disable-gtk-doc: This parameter prevents the rebuilding of documentation during the make command. It will also prevent the existing documentation in the source tree from being installed.

--enable-svgz: If you have libgsf installed and want support for compressed svg images (.svgz), add this parameter to the configure options.

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc &&
make

Install the package

make install

Compile the package:

Short Descriptions

rsvg is used to covert SVG images into PNG, JPEG and ICO raster images.
rsvg-view is used to view an SVG file in an X window.
librsvg-2.{so,a} libraries provide the functions to render Scalable Vector Graphics.
