The MPFR library is a C library for multiple-precision floating-point computations with exact rounding (also called correct rounding).
Dependencies

Apply the cumulative patch from the MPFR Organization:
patch -Np1 -i ../mpfr-2.2.0-cumulative_patch-1.patch
Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared && make
Build the optional documentation in one or more formats:
make info to produce in the info format make dvi to produce in the DVI format make mpfr.ps to produce in the Postscript format
Install the package:
make install
