Introduction to Mtools
Mtools is a collection of utilities to access MS-DOS disks from Unix without mounting them. It supports Win'95 style long file names, OS/2 Xdf disks and 2m disks (store up to 1992k on a high density 3 1/2 disk).

Configuration Information
If you do not have an X Window System installed make sure you add the following to the configure command:
--disable-floppyd
Non-Multilib
Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install
Multilib
This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" USE_ARCH=32 ./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" USE_ARCH=n32 ./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" USE_ARCH=64 ./configure --prefix=/usr && make
