Dependencies

• MySql Only needed on the server.
• Qt
• Lame

Optional

• Lirc

Non-Multilib

Configure and compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package:

make install
cp database/mc.sql /usr/share/mythtv/
mysql -u root -p < database/mc.sql

Multilib

.....This package has no libraries and only needs to be install once.....

32Bit

Configure and compile the package:

export USE_ARCH=32
CC="gcc -m32" GXX="g++ -m32" PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig \
./configure --prefix=/usr
qmake mythtv.pro
make qmake
make

Install the package:

make install
cp database/mc.sql /usr/share/mythtv/
mysql -u root -p < database/mc.sql
mythtv-setup
