Introduction to NASM

NASM (Netwide Assembler) is an 80x86 assembler designed for portability and modularity. It includes a disassembler as well.

Dependencies

Optional (For Building Documentation)

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../nasm-0.98.39-security_fix-1.patch &&
./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.

32Bit

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../nasm-0.98.39-security_fix-1.patch &&
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

N32

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../nasm-0.98.39-security_fix-1.patch &&
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:
