Introduction to Parted
Parted is a package that provides utilities for creating, destroying, resizing, checking and copying partitions and the file systems on the partitions. Parted provides a command-line interface that also serves as a sample implementation and script backend. The library allows the use of a GUI, such as GParted or QTParted, for the front end to parted.
