Seom is used by Beryl to capture video of your desktop.

You can check Seom out via svn. The command to check it out is:

svn co svn://dbservice.com/big/svn/seom/trunk seom

It couldn't hurt to make a tarball so you have an unmodified source around for future reference:

tar cvjf seom{-$(date +%Y%m%d).tar.bz2,}

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make CC="gcc -L${XORG_PREFIX}/lib"

Install the package

make install &&
libtool --finish /usr/lib

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr

If you are building on x86_64 use the following commands to build and install:

USE_ARCH=32 make ARCH=x86 CC="gcc ${BUILD32} -L${XORG_PREFIX}/lib" &&
make ARCH=x86 install &&
libtool --finish /usr/lib

If you are building on some other architecture use the following commands to build and install:

USE_ARCH=32 make ARCH=C CC="gcc ${BUILD32} -L${XORG_PREFIX}/lib" &&
make ARCH=C install &&
libtool --finish /usr/lib

N32

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
USE_ARCH=n32 make CC="gcc ${BUILDN32} -L${XORG_PREFIX}/lib32"

Install the package

make LIBDIR=lib32 install &&
sed -i "/libdir=/s:/lib:&32:" /usr/lib64/libseom.la &&
libtool --finish /usr/lib32

64Bit

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
USE_ARCH=64 make CC="gcc ${BUILD64} -L${XORG_PREFIX}/lib64"

Install the package

make LIBDIR=lib64 install &&
sed -i "/libdir=/s:/lib:&64:" /usr/lib64/libseom.la &&
libtool --finish /usr/lib64
