Introduction to Xfce4-Mixer

Xfce4-mixer is a volume control application for the Xfce Desktop Environment. This package contains both a volume control plugin for the Xfce Panel and a standalone mixer application.

Configuration Information

--disable-big-mixer: don't build the big mixer window.
--disable-mighty-mouse-panel-plugin: don't build the 4.4 panel plugin.
--with-sound=auto,alsa,oss,sun,sgi: select sound system to use.

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=${XFCE_PREFIX} \
--libexecdir=${XFCE_PREFIX}/lib/xfce4-mixer &&
make

Install the package:

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

USE_ARCH=32 CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" \
./configure --prefix=${XFCE_PREFIX} \
--libexecdir=${XFCE_PREFIX}/lib/xfce4-mixer &&
make

Install the package:

make install

N32

Compile the package:

USE_ARCH=n32 CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32}" \
./configure --prefix=${XFCE_PREFIX} --libdir=${XFCE_PREFIX}/lib32 \
--libexecdir=${XFCE_PREFIX}/lib32/xfce4-mixer &&
make

Install the package:

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:
