Project Homepage: http://pkgconfig.freedesktop.org/wiki/
Dependencies
Pkg-config is met when using CLFS Development (2.0) or later. If using CLFS Development (2.0) or later, then use Pkg-config-0.27.1 using --with-internal-glib configure switch.
Non-Multilib
Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install
Multilib
This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.
--with-pc-path takes the libdir out of the default search path for .pc files. See the Bash Startup Files for help setting up a environment for use with this.
64Bit

USE_ARCH=64 CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-pc-path=/usr/share/pkgconfig && make
Install the package
