The ALSA Tools package is only needed by those with advanced requirements for their sound card. The tools are not all built together, instead you need to cd into the directory of each tool you wish to compile and run the appropriate commands:

Dependencies

• ALSA Library

Optional

• Gtk1 (To Build echomixer, envy24control, and rmedigicontrol)
• FLTK (To Build hdspconf and hdspmixer)
• Qt (To Build qlo10k1)

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

N32

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 &&
make

Install the package

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 &&
make

Install the package

make install
