Remember that Wine is not an emulator therefore it will only work on x86 or x86_64 Multilib systems.

Compile the package:

Install the package

make install &&
ln -sv wine-0.9.23 /opt/wine

Multilib x86_64

For running 32bit apps

Compile the package:

PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" USE_ARCH=32 \
./configure --prefix=/opt/wine-0.9.23 &&
make depend
make

Install the package

make install &&
ln -sv wine-0.9.23 /opt/wine

For running 64bit apps

Compile the package:

Install the package

Configuration

If you're using the Bash Startup Files create an addition for them with the following command:
