Non-Multilib

If your $GNOME_PREFIX is anything other then /usr correct the Gedit plugin installation path with the following command:

sed -i "/^plugindir =/s:=.*:= ${GNOME_PREFIX}/lib/gedit-2/plugins:" misc/gedit-plugin/Makefile.in

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc/gnome &&
make

Install the package:

make install

Multilib

32Bit

If your $GNOME_PREFIX is anything other then /usr correct the Gedit plugin installation path with the following command:

sed -i "/^plugindir =/s:=.*:= ${GNOME_PREFIX}/lib/gedit-2/plugins:" misc/gedit-plugin/Makefile.in

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" CXX="g++ ${BUILD32}" \
PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" USE_ARCH=32 \
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc/gnome &&
make

Install the package:

make install

N32

make

Install the package:

make install
