Introduction to Pilot-Link

The Pilot-Link package provides a suite of tools containing a series of conduits, libraries, and language bindings for moving information to and from your Palm device and your desktop or server/workstation system, as well as across a network.

Dependencies

Configuring

Use any or all of these options with configure to enable the respective language bindings desired:

--with-perl --with-java --with-tcl=/usr/lib --with-python

Remember to change /usr/lib to an appropriate value on multilib systems.

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../pilot-link-0.11.8-bindings_fix-1.patch &&
./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../pilot-link-0.11.8-bindings_fix-1.patch &&
