Configuring

Use any or all of these options with configure to enable the respective language bindings desired:

--with-perl --with-java --with-tcl=/usr/lib --with-python

Remember to change /usr/lib to an appropriate value on multilib systems.

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

 ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-threads --enable-conduits &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

export USE_ARCH=32 &&
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" CXX="g++ ${BUILD32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH32}" ./configure \
  --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
unset USE_ARCH

N32

Compile the package:

export USE_ARCH=n32 &&
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" CXX="g++ ${BUILDN32}" PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32}"./configure \
  --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 &&
sed -i -e "/^sys_lib_search_path_spec=/s/lib/lib32/g" \
       -e "/^sys_lib_dlsearch_path_spec=/s/lib/lib32/g" libtool &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
unset USE_ARCH

64Bit

Compile the package:

export USE_ARCH=64 &&
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" CXX="g++ ${BUILD64}" ./configure PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATH64}" \
 --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 &&

       -e "/^sys_lib_dlsearch_path_spec=/s/lib/lib64/g" libtool &&
make

Install the package
