Dev86 is a linux 8086 development enviornment.

Dependencies

Note: Pure64 Builds

The following sed command will allow dev86 to compile on 64bit systems (this negates the elksemu build):

sed -i.orig -e 's,alt-libs elksemu,alt-libs,' -e 's,install-lib install-emu,install-lib,' makefile.in

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

make

Install the package:

make install

Multilib

32bit

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../dev86-noelks.patch
make CC="gcc ${BUILD32}"

Install the package:

make install

N32

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../dev86-noelks.patch 
make CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}"

Install the package:

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

patch -Np1 -i ../dev86-noelks.patch 
patch -Np1 -i ../dev86-x86_64.patch 
make CC="gcc ${BUILD64}"

Install the package:

make install
