Introduction to Dhcpcd

Dhcpcd is an implementation of the DHCP client specified in RFC2131. This is useful for connecting your computer to a network which uses DHCP to assign network addresses.

Dependencies

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix="" --mandir=/usr/share/man &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
chmod -v 754 /etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd.exe

Multilib

This package does not provide any libraries so only one installation is needed.

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix="" --mandir=/usr/share/man &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
chmod -v 754 /etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd.exe

N32

Compile the package:
