Introduction to FreeGLUT

FreeGLUT is intended to be a 100% compatible, completely opensourced clone of the GLUT library. GLUT is a window system independent toolkit for writing OpenGL programs, implementing a simple windowing API, which makes learning about and exploring OpenGL programming very easy.

Compile the package:

make

Install the package

make install &&

    /usr/share/doc/freeglut-2.4.0

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr  \

make

Install the package

make install

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 \
    --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib32 &&
make

Install the package

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 \
    --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib64 &&
make

Install the package

make install &&
