Introduction to LibTIFF

The LibTIFF package contains the TIFF libraries and associated utilities. The libraries are used by many programs for reading and writing TIFF files and the utilities are useful for general work with TIFF files.

• X Window System
• FreeGLUT or MesaLib (Which Provides a GLUT Library)

Non-Multilib

Compile the package:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

Install the package

make install

Multilib

32Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" CXX="g++ ${BUILD32}" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib" \
    ./configure --prefix=/usr --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib &&
make

Install the package

make install

N32

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" CXX="g++ ${BUILDN32}" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib32" \
    ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 \
    --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib32 &&
make

Install the package

make install

64Bit

Compile the package:

CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" CXX="g++ ${BUILD64}" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib64" \
    ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 \
    --x-libraries=${XORG_PREFIX}/lib64 &&
make

Install the package

make install
