Libpcap provides a system-independent interface for user-level packet capture. It includes a portable framework for low-level network monitoring. Applications include network statistics collection, security monitoring, network debugging, etc.

--enable-ipv6: enables full IPv6 support (e.g. capture filters)

Install the package
