Libpcap provides functions for user-level packet capture, used in low-level network monitoring.
Dependencies

Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install &&
install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/libpcap-1.0.0 &&
install -v -m644 doc/*{html,txt} /usr/share/doc/libpcap-1.0.0
Multilib
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make
Install the package
make install
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 &&
make
Install the package
make install
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 &&
make
Install the package
make install &&
install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/libpcap-1.0.0 &&
