Introduction to Libpng
The Libpng package contains libraries used by other programs for reading and writing PNG files.
Dependencies
Non-Multilib
Compile the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
Install the package
make install && install -v -m755 -d /usr/share/doc/libpng-1.2.12 && install -v -m644 README libpng.txt /usr/share/doc/libpng-1.2.12
Multilib
32Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make
Install the package
make install &&
mv -v /usr/bin/libpng12-config{,-32} &&
ln -sfv libpng12-config-32 /usr/bin/libpng-config-32
N32
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32 &&
make
Install the package
make install &&
mv -v /usr/bin/libpng12-config{,-n32} &&
ln -sfv libpng12-config-n32 /usr/bin/libpng-config-n32
64Bit
Compile the package:
CC="gcc ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 &&

Install the package
